Currently the switcher disregards all checks of accessibility. Users should be able to:
Navigate the switcher using the keyboard and selecting a language by pressing ‘Enter’ on the keyboard.
The switcher should be focus-able with keyboard tabbing and links should have an outline or default to browser outlines.
Correct semantic HTML tags should also be used (for users visiting web with screenreaders). Alternatively default to using only <div> tag.
