Shopify translation: exclude vendor tag#120

Hi,

It seems we can exclude blocks automatically by setting a rule, but unfortunately there is no rule to exclude tags or specific product fields on Shopify, namely and mainly “Vendor”.

We sell second-hand clothes and we have brand names that are in French. Weglot does a great job at automatically translating our website, but unfortunately, brand names are being translated as well. For instance, “Ça va de soi” brand becomes “It goes without saying”, while it should remain “Ça va de soi” since its a brand name.

Any feature that can be implemented for such exclusion / rule?

Hello, if you can’t find a way to exclude block with a selector you can also define glossary rules to avoid brand names to be translated. If you want help with that you can get in touch with our support. I close this as it’s not a feature request.
